November 2017 Census

On November 18, 2017, in anticipation of future elections, the government conducted a federal census.

The largest ethnic community of Occitania are Catalans who represent 26% of the total population. They live in two federal elements, the State of Bayarri and the Federal Republic of Three Flowers. Follow the French people with 19%, the Spainards with the same number as the white Americans : 10%.  The others largest communities with Latin Americans (8%) and Japaneses (6%).

Evolution of the number of Occitanian Citizens

Since the founding of the Union of Occitania on September 15, 2015, the population has been constantly increasing. We can see two phases of growth.
The first is called "slow", begins at the foundation and ends in  March 2017. Over a period of more than a year and a half, the population slowly increases.
The second, called "fast" start at the end of March 2017  and seems to always happen. It includes a large territorial expansion and bursts of citizenship requests. The base population doubles during this period.
