The Prime Minister of the Popular Union of Occitania, Babou Chkaya paid an official visit to the region of Val d'Aran in Catalonia. The themes of this visit were the common Occitanity and the current political situation in Catalonia.

Chkaya visited several places of cultural interest in the region, related to the Occitan culture or with the Republican retreat during the Spanish Civil War in the cities of Les, Bossòst and Veilha 

This visit was also intended to bring the support of the Popular Union of Occitania to the Aranese population in the political-juridical conflict with the Spanish government after the ban on the preferential use of the Occitan language in the area ; and more generally supports Catalonia in its movement of social and democratic emancipation.

For the people living in Dunsula, Luigi, New Iustus, New Occitanian Granada, Novo Ivanovsk, Sezentrania and Tagtabazar, the election will take place on May 19.

For the people living in Babougrad, Medoc, Oslovia, Palmola, Shalom, Soternes and Three Flowes, the election will take place on May 20.

For the people living abroad, the e-vote will take place bewteen May 16 and May 19. The e-vote website will be send to all the foreign citizens by mail.
